Charles County Schools To Close Early For Snow Today, Tuesday, January 11

With snow on the horizon, I can hear the cheers from the children at Charles County public schools from here in D.C..

Why?   An early closing of course.  

Charles County schools have announced that they will close two hours early today, Tuesday, January 11.

MARYLAND'S 2nd Annual Video Gaming Conference Sat Dec.11 8:30 - 1:30  Grades5 - 12

WHAT: This 1-day conference for 5th-12th grade students promises to educate and motivate students who seek information on how to crack into the video gaming industry.  From creation to marketing industry experts will introduce students to the various aspects of video game design, programming…and of course play!  With fun, food, and door prizes you don’t want to miss out on this experience.

Charles County Public Schools to Host Annual College Fair

The Charles County Public School system will hold its 13th annual College Fair on Wednesday, September 22.

The event, which will take place at North Point High School, will run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., and then again from 6 p.m.-8 p.m..

Over 125 schools will be recruiting at the College Fair.

The 6 p.m.-8 p.m. session of the Fair will be open to the public.  There will also be financial aid workshops, at 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m..
